Ksp 58 sound change to old csgo Negev
Avatar

I think Hawk is the only one who replaced the Ksp 58 in a soundpack but as much as I love his mod I prefer the old csgo Negev sound.
Alcat101's Negev mod (https://modworkshop.net/mydownloads.php?action=view_down&did=19949#description) also uses this sound file so I think this would make it even more fitting.
And what is the glorified laser beam without its shredder sound?

Why not the new Negev sounds?
Because the new csgo sounds suck.

I know how to extract the sound files and all but since overkill gave the single sound files names like "9asd897sdfsasdf" good luck finding out which of these is the gunfire start, mid and end :|

Hawk use csgo negev sound for pd2 ksp58? huh TIL

Also probably it'll be faster to ask Hawk on how he mod the ksp58 sound

No I don't know from where he got the sound but what I meant was that he is the only one who replaced the Ksp 58 sound at all.

But yeah I might ask him how he did it.

My current sound is the BF3 M240B shot sound. I'm not sure why I'm the only one, it could be that because Overkill named the converted file such an odd name or designation that no one knew or understood what it could be unless they dove in and listened to the sounds in order to get an idea what was inside. Or maybe I'm just one of the few who cared enough to want to replace everything, I don't know. I'm pretty sure though it's because the file name does not make any sense, while about 98% of the files themselves have the real firearms' names in them OR code words some simply have odd word combinations that do not make sense to use, maybe to the devs but I don't see it. Either way it's Overkill being convoluted and vague.
