I always liked those type of weapons in BL2

I would assume this would be easy enough to do with the example that someone removed the bipod from the Lebensauger's (WA 2000's) model. Basically it'd come down to removing the model and leaving the reticule.

You might wanna (If possible) tweak in a crosshair that fits better for the floating sight. The picture there (Thought this is just personal opinion) looks kinda like the old crosshair mod that got removed a while back applied to ADS. (IE it's very flat and doesn't stand out) The example of the Maliwan sight you showed looks less flat in BL2, so it looks more like a floating holo-sight rather than a flat crosshair.

(Again this is just my personal opinion for a slightly more stand-outish look)

and just a note here i always recomend when yousing this mod to take a big rectile

You might be able (In my theory) to improve the look if you just grab the glass pane from the See-more sight and put the reticule on that for a little bit of depth. It might stop appearing to float awkwardly then.

Hmm... well it's looking a little less flat, but I do agree it looks awkward.

Two if possible suggestions;

1. Can you take the darker edging off the glass pane?
2. Can you make it appear to have a base displaying it much like the sight in your BL2 pic?

you could make a custom reticle to go with it :3 have it replace one of the joke ones
