I like the reticle, don't get me wrong, but i feel like if i only had the dot, i'd be a little more accurate with my shots. Is this possible ?
I think at some point there was a guide on how to modify them in engine.ini file. Like setting color, size, ... . I think it can also hide stuff using those.
if you go %localappdata% and find the PAYDAY3/Saved/Config/WindowsClient/GameUserSettings.ini file, there should be two values you can modify called
CrosshairsBarWidth
CrosshairsBarLength
you can set both of these to 0.000000 and it won't show the bars anymore
i've had it this way since launch and have never set it back.
if for some reason your game resets these values, you can also set the alpha value here to 0, and that will just never show the bars regardless of what the above values were set to

I agree 100%, and it's also good if there is a mod that temporarily hides the reticle and the dot when inspecting the weapon I guess.
