Im hoping i can make a request. This is something that i've been wanting to be fixed for a straight up decade. Actually as i think about i think it may actually be the longest standing issue view had with one thing in any one game. On the CAR-4 and AMCAR the buffer tube lock never changes no matter what mods you have installed. This leads to visual issues where the lock stays the same shiny pitch black even if all of your chosen weapon mods make the entire rest of the CAR-4 to be a more flat matte gray.
However With the North Star being released (im aware it may be super old, I'm only just coming back now), the buffer tube lock is now both accurate the real thing but also matches the rest of the gun in color and shininess. Basically all I'm asking is if someone could replace the buffer tube lock on the CAR-4 with the one from the North Star. Because i'm aware no one will really know what a buffer tube lock is (when looking it up to confirm i was right in calling that i could find almost zero images that actually showed what its called, so i may be calling it the wrong thing) i've attached some images.
This is a 10 year old problem since i had the issue ever since the Gage Mod Courier DLC (released in 2014) pack added the "Worn Torn Stock" for the AMCAR style weapons, which is noticeably flatter and greyer then the rest of the weapon. My issue with this thing has only grown as more and more attachments have been added to the weapon.
