Мод оживляет старый «Engine Helper», который перестал работать из‑за изменений в Payday 2 и BLT, и переписывает хуки под актуальные версии игры в 2026 году.
Никак не вмешивается в логику выбора двигателя — он только подсвечивает уже определённо правильный вариант, не ломая баланс.

[Big Oil] Engine Helper — 2026 Update
This mod adds a handy waypoint on the correct engine in the “Big Oil Day 2” heist in PAYDAY 2.
After Bain plays the dialog line about checking the engine, a green objective marker with distance appears above the right engine and automatically disappears once it is confirmed.
The mod revives the old “Engine Helper”, which stopped working due to PAYDAY 2 and BLT changes, and updates its hooks for current 2026 builds.
It does not change how the correct engine is chosen — it only highlights the engine that the game already decided is right, keeping the heist’s balance intact
