This mod aims to improve visual fidelity in the Big Bank heist, fixing various visual issues around the heist, improving lighting and now you can choose between either having the option to install a version where the heist takes place in the early morning, or during the evening. This mod features proper shadow projections from light sources which this heist interestingly had none of which caused it look very flat with no baked shadows and only dynamic shadows from the props itself. New cubemap reflections, dynamic environment swaps when swapping between the front or the back of the bank, or the downstairs garage area. Various props and pieces of architecture textures have been swapped around to provide a higher quality look to them. For a more easier to take in bullet list:
- Architecture around the map have been given a global cubemap reflection to properly show off the new cubemap reflections
- Props around the map have had their textures changed to provide a more visually appealing look to them
- New cubemaps were produced, one being in the front of the bank, and one in the back area of the bank
- Light sources around the map were changed for them to produce a shadow projection texture, meaning that there will be more depth instead of a flat and dull looking rooms
- Various light sources around the map, like lamps and chandeliers have been given a bloom shader applied to them
- The environment has been reworked to provide a more realistic looking scenery (The old sun intensity on the heist was almost near its maximum value of 10, which is why the outside looked way too bright)
- The front lobby ceiling lamps were turned on as to project that the bank isn't cutting costs for the electricity bill
- A handful of textures were given parallax mapping to provide a more 3D bumpy look to them
And other various minor changes I have changed around the map to architecture and props.
