Scarface's Mansion Reimagined
This mod aims to improve visual fidelity in the Scarface Mansion heist, fixing visual issues, improving lighting and making it feel like it has a late evening tone to it. It features rebuilt cubelighting for better lighting accuracy and shadows, reworked cubemaps, various golden props finally getting a golden reflective look to it and a giving a bunch of architecture textures a parallax map to them for extra bumpiness.
- Various golden statues and gold props have been retextured and have had their cubemap refitted to have a golden look to them as to how they looked before
- The environment has been tweaked to have a darker ambience to have a more mid to late evening feeling to the heist instead of a late afternoon tone
- A couple of cubemaps were remade to fix some errors that were made in them (they have dev placed assets in them and the office cubemap had the floor vault contents floating in mid air) and are at a higher quality resolution
- Cubelights were remade to have a more higher quality look to them and to adjust for the time of day change
- Various architecture textures on the floor and walls have been given parallax mapping (3D Bumps) to have a better bump to them
- Light sources around the maps were adjusted to be more corrected, one noteworthy one is the one at the beginning of spawn where the light looked it was projecting from the camera above the wall lamp instead of directly from the lamp itself
- Most if not almost all of the lights around the heist have had a bloom effect given to them
- The bloom scalar in the environment file was increased as to allow bloom to be more apparent and obvious in the heist
- The fleur de lys wall pattern inside the mansion have had their specularity tweaked to shine more
And a lot more various and little changes I made to props and areas around the heist.
