Maniac is generally seen as bottom 3 perk decks in the game, at least on Death Sentence. With this mod I've attempted to alleviate some of the weaknesses of it, almost entirely focused around DS without changing much below that.
These changes ensure that as long as you are actually staying aggressive and able to keep damage up you are able to keep up absorption more consistently
DEATH SENTENCE CHANGES:
Max Hysteria Stacks per tick 240 -> 960
Max Hysteria Stacks 600 -> 2400
Hysteria conversion 30/25 -> 120/100
Insanity boosting absorption 100% -> 200%
Due to the absurd amounts of damage you take and deal on DS, I increased the damage needed for building hysteria by 4x to make it feel slightly more in line, and also increased the max absorption on self from 48 to 72, which makes the deck feel infinitely more playable now assuming you utilize resistances, without feeling OP
