DOOM 2016 – SIGN OF EVIL (E1M8 THROWBACK/REMASTER)

This mod brings a brutal throwback to the classic Sign of Evil theme from DOOM's E1M8, which was reimagined in DOOM (2016)
The track exists in the game but was never officially named or published on Spotify by Mick Gordon. It remains an unofficial banger ,loud, raw, and infernal inside the game´s campaign.

The version used here was extracted from the DOOM 2016 game files. While i can’t confirm the original extractor, it was uploaded by thyzzie (big props to him for making it available to the world).

I also cleaned up the structure for gameplay purposes, since the original was oddly arranged, with the loud, chaotic riffs right at the start and the quiet sections at the end. I fixed that for Payday 2:

• Stealth uses the atmospheric track “Residual” (from DOOM 2016).
• Build-up (Opera) ramps up the dread.
• Assault (Rock) brings full hellfire to the heist.

Installation Instructions:

1. Drop the mod folder into your mod_overrides directory inside your PAYDAY 2 assets folder.
   Example path:
   PAYDAY 2/assets/mod_overrides
2. Make sure you have SuperBLT and BeardLib installed.
3. Launch the game, go to Soundtrack settings, and select SIGN OF EVIL 2016.
4. Rip and tear through the heist.
