The StA-52 Assault Rifle unlocks at level 16 and appears as the Kalashnikov Concern AK-12 (AK17 Rifle).

This rifle is a basic assault rifle with the same damage and penetration as the standard AR-23 Liberator but an increased capacity and rate of fire, and slightly higher recoil. It is still very accurate and controllable despite having higher recoil and a faster rate of fire than the basic AR-23, and can easily dispatch groups of softer opponents when fired using short, controlled bursts. Despite having higher magazine capacity, the StA-52 having only six spare magazines means it has very slightly less total ammunition.

KNOWN ISSUES (Unrelated to the reload):

• The left hand's index finger slightly clips inside the handguard. Doesn't affect gameplay.
• The charging handle will remain locked back until any reload is performed.
