With this mod you can bring back the old melee sound of the Hotline Miami game for the new Overskill weapon!

You sociopath..

Make sure your SFX volume is loud enough. When I tested this, my volume was at like 50 and I could barely hear it. I don't want to raise the dB too much for people who play on full volume.


The file used in this video is the 7dB .pak

I didn't want to hurt anyone's ear drums, so I only had raised the volume by 3 dB. I was thinking of raising it more to 5 dB or 7 dB.

I'm not sure what volume most people turn the SFX volume up to, so I kept the volume low.

@odd_orchid the problem is Payday is generally a loud game, so you need to make the sound effects loud to be able to hear them over the rest of the commotion.

When I tested out the mod myself I pretty much couldn't hear the sound, for example.

@atlasfox I tried turning it up again. If that doesn't work, I'll crank it up to 10 or 12 db.
