Oldman's Immersive Overhaul (Mods Compilation)
A compilation of my Road to Vostok mods.
⚠️ Using other mods together with this compilation can cause unexpected issues. See below for a list of known incompatible mods
⚠️ Since this includes all most of my other mods, please remove them from your load list to avoid conflicts and unexpected behaviour
You can customise which mod features are enabled via the Mod Configuration Menu
GAMEPLAY VIDEO (by UmmPlays)
ADDED FEATURES:
- Weapons auto-equip: When picking up a weapon, knife or grenade, the item will be automatically equipped to a valid slot if available. If the player's hands are empty, the weapon will be automatically drawn
- Immersive interactions: lower weapon and slight delay when opening doors, containers, picking up items
- AI Revamp 2.0:
- AI Vision Reworked:
- Vision range accounts for light, weather, movement, indoors, flashlight, suppressor usage etc.,
- Vision cone is narrowest at the top of the vision range, gradually increasing to normal until half the vision range
- AI Hearing Reworked:
- Hearing range accounts for movement, indoors, walking surface, interactions (reloading, looting, etc.), weather (storm) etc.
- AIs can now hear other AI shots or explosions, player shots hearing range increased if no suppressor is used
- AI Reloading (configurable using MCM)
- Enemies now have realistic magazine sizes and need to reload when running out of bullets (sound only, no animations available)
- Enemies sometimes perform tactical reloads
- Enemies decisions take into account ammo availability when it makes sense
- AI Suppression (configurable using MCM)
- Enemies more likely to use full auto
- Enemies will sometimes briefly suppress the player's last known position when losing sight of player
- AI Tweaks and Settings:
- Increased active AI from 3 to 6, total AI per map from 10 to 15 (configurable using MCM)
- Enemies will now react to taking fire by running away or pushing you
- Enemies will sometimes close some doors
- Small tweaks to accuracy (base accuracy configurable using MCM)
- Small tweaks to movement (AI will try to get closer if very far away)
- Adjustments of AI decision logic
- AI Sound Rework:
- Supersonic bullet crack now plays only if the enemy bullet goes past the player, before the shot sound, delay is based on distance
- AI Vision Reworked:
- Immersive NVG: Can't use large scopes with NVG on (red dots still work), weapon blur when NVG is on, lowered NVG noise (disable any of these in MCM)
- Quality of life improvements: ADS zoom (hold ALT or Shift by default, or configure in MCM), subtle dot crosshair for easier looting etc.
- Visuals: DOF blur when aiming weapons, better flashlight, better weather
- Various tweaks and fixes to UI and interactions:
- increased camera shake when shooting
- attaching magazine in inventory does not chamber a round
- chamber round reload animation enabled
- sprint or jump exits crouch
- jump lowers weapon
- Mercy kill: double tap enemies in the head to stop their agony
- fix ammo check animation stuck in high ready
- fix bullets not visible in magazine when reloading after switching weapons
- fix weapon bob to sync with footsteps audio when sprinting
INSTALLATION
- Install the
VostokMods Mod LoaderMetro Mod Loader - Move the downloaded
ImmersiveXP.vmzfile to themodsfolder in your game installation

NEW IN 3.0.3
- Reworked broken AI visibility calculation to adjust view range back to demo mod levels (now max 50m at night, 200m at noon)
- Added MCM setting to adjust view range multiplier
- Changed AI active and total spawns to be randomised (defaults: 4 to 6 active out of 12 to 18 total), adjustable amount and spawn delay interval
- Enemies with handguns are less accurate (increased spread by 1.5)
- Added MCM setting to adjust day length (default 2.4h)
- Fixed MCM setting to fully hide tooltip

- Armour & Helmet Repair - game crashes during weapon reload (Workaround in 2.1.5: rename to
xArmor Repair.zipto load after ImmersiveXP) - (Bigger) Font Size - breaks staged reloads. (Workaround: Rename to
xFontSize.zipto load after ImmersiveXP) - Fly mode - both mods modify Controller.gd, which has a class name now, so they conflict. Included fly mode in ImmersiveXP
- Inventory Improvements - breaks toolbox repair (Workaround: Rename to
01InventoryImprovements.zipto load before ImmersiveXP) - Item Spawner - users report game crash when mods are used together. Workaround: try using Item Spawner 1.1.0 instead
- Quest Marker - low framerate when running these mods together
- Shelter Anywhere - users report mods are not working together
- Show Time of Day When Looking At Placed Alarm Clock - breaks weapons jamming, staged reloads and other weapon functionality
- Smooth Hold Reload - breaks staged reloads, smooth reloads. Already included in Immersive Overhaul, with permission (enable in MCM)
