Unfortunately, I now get the error message in Unreal Engine that compiling the project failed, the log is full of red text. But I don't have much of a clue how to fix it. So I came up with the idea of ​​making it a bit simpler, even if it is more limited in its use.

@shaklin that's normal, it's because of modloader. Set modloader folder and every other folder than isn't going to be in your Pak to never cook and it will cook successfully. But also cooking successfully isn't really important as long as the assets you need cook even if it fails lol

@shalashaska1 As I am currently working on a van tool, I had an idea. Would it be possible to make an animation for the van texture as well?
Maybe unnecessary, but why not :)

@shaklin it's possible and I have done it before. I just didn't upload it anywhere and don't have the project anymore. It works very similar to the phone one so you should be able to take this project and adapt it to work on the BP_EscapeVan instead

then I will try that soon, ty :) but I still can't get the animated phone project mod to work. I have now seen that the cooked files are in the Saved folder. I didn't know that, I only saw that now in your video :D.

Oh and I saw that you updated your PD3 NadzMods.
I noticed that there is no AnimationLoader.uasset and AnimationLoader.uexp in AnimatedPhoneScreenMod anymore.
So we don't need it anymore?

and In your video you have it like this: Mods\AnimatedPhoneScreenMod
But I have it like this: Mods\_NadzMods\AnimatedPhoneScreenMod
So I have to move it in Editor?

@shaklin in one of the recent updates I removed the AnimLoader persistent object since it was never being used. I also moved the project to _NadzMods since that's where I house all my mods. You can just move it out of there back into /Mods, just remember to fix up redirectors (make sure the ModMeta is still pointing to the right path for the ModActor BP)

Ah I see, ty for your response.
It works now, but I had to add the material "MI_PlayerPhoneScreen", because DisplayMI was empty.
I think that's not right, but I didn't know how to do it. What a start with Unreal Editor modding :D
The van works now too, I found the names and material. But it does not work in all missions. It works for example in 'Dirty Ice' and 'Gold and Sharke', but not in Mainmenu or in 'No Rest For The Wicked', only later, when the van returns to escape.
I think there are different van meshes.
EDIT: nvm it works now so far!

@shalashaska1 Since some people said it sometimes doesn't work with other player/ random lobbies, I thought I'd change the script a bit to 'Get All Actors of Class' and then only your own player. Unfortunately I don't know if player 0 is always your own or the player that is found first?
