What It Does

This mod has two parts. The first is some new moves related to Tales of the Abyss. The second is a field of fonons combat system. Elemental moves have a chance to apply FOFs of the corresponding type, which once fully charged can power up certain moves for more damage, or entirely different effects!

Deal big elemental damage with Energy Blast and other artes!
Equip Free Run to move around pesky FOFs stuck on your foes and maybe get them somewhere more useful.

Requires Mod Utils to run.
Tested on 1.7.0

I want to change the sprites for some of the attacks, but I don't know how. If you know how to do this, I'll gladly do at least some recolors.

Compatibility

This mod clobbers BattleController.gd, so the FOF changes won't work if other mods touch this code.
The moves should work regardless of other mods.
