"Hey gang, while you’re up in New York, I’ve got a juicy score for you to take on. GenSec’s been hauling cargo throughout the city in their armored transports, and I’ve got intel on a convoy that should be loaded with valuables. It’s going to get loud."
With the Payday gang taking on scores in New York again when the servers work, I decided it would be neat to harken back to some of their earlier heists with this mix of Armored Transport and Heat Street. As a Heat Street edit, this focuses on the area where the players first see the ambulance heading toward the crash site, and is largely the same but with notable differences in cover design. As a Transport heist, imagine it as a blend of Crossroads and Park, with side areas, wide open spaces, extra loot to find, and no snipers.
Currently features 16 different truck spawns and a fun parkour™ challenge.
This heist is not yet finished but can be played from start to end, with the following intended to be added in future updates:
- Custom voicelines (waiting on someone to get back to me on that)
- More truck spawns, player spawns, and enemy spawns
- More escapes
- Improved AI pathing
- Optimization with occluders and portals
- Experience rewards
- Custom achievements
