It sort of sucks that Lab Rats has this big fuck-off spider in the level that appears at complete random and the only thing you can do to avoid it if you're arachnophobic is just not look in the general direction of where it can spawn if you hear it. There used to be a mod that removed the spider from the map, though it appears to no longer work.
So as the next best thing (short of replacing the model entirely), I've made this texture edit that tries to make it less arachnophobia-triggering by making it pink and giving it puppy eyes. It has been approved by an arachnophobic friend of mine.
