This mod allows you to revert back an infamy level. For example, if you're infamy 500 and for some reason want to go back, you can use this mod to revert your infamy back to level 499.
To use the mod, enter the vanilla's infamy menu. The button layout will have changed and there will be a new button waiting: "Revert an infamy level". Clicking it will present you with a prompt where you can choose how to revert the infamy:
After this the normal infamy cutscene will play out (Although you're not infamying: you're reversing an infamy!). The game won't save until you hit BACK on this screen, so if you suddenly have second thoughts you can ALT + F4: this way the reversion will not be saved.
For reasons that should be obvious, it is recommended to create a backup of your savefile if you don't fully trust the mod. You can do this by navigating to the following directory:
C:\Users\[Your user]\Appdata\Local\PAYDAY 2\saves\[YOUR STEAM ACCOUNT ID]
Or, more simply:
%LOCALAPPDATA%/PAYDAY 2/saves/[YOUR STEAM ACCOUNT ID]
