So first and foremost, this is not technically my mod. This is a mod that was last updated 5 years ago and resides on a website that no longer exists. It was posted by a user named BANGL and on a website called paydaymods.com. I had to use the wayback machine to even find it (Here's the wayback machine page if you're interested: https://web.archive.org/web/20181016055316/http://paydaymods.com:80/mods/551/mll). I'm not a modder so I won't be making any updates for this, but it works perfectly for what I need it.
I've been finding that for one reason or another, my download manager would crash upon clicking it. This mod fixes that by removing the images and optimizing the menu overall. Here's the original mod description:
So the BLT 2 update brought us fancy icons - that's cool! ...but only if you have a SSD. becasue otherwise loading these is causing a horrible freeze of like ~2 seconds.. atleast for me (while i have a bunch of mods though) anyways...
This mod:
- Prevents loading these images completely (also removed from download list)
- Removes the descriptions
- Halves the box heights, so less scrolling
- Sorts the mod list alphabetically
Not sure if anyone's been having crashing issues like I have with the download manager, but if you have, give this a try, it worked for me.
All credits to the original modder. Also I did try and check if this mod in some fashion made its way here to Mod Workshop, but I couldn't find anything. If this mod is somehow here under a different name I'll probably delete this, if you can find it.
