FORMERLY "FIRSTPERSON GLOVES IN THIRDPERSON"
THIS MOD IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ANYTHING THAT REPLACES THE HEISTER'S MODELS. ESPECIALLY NOT ANYTHING THAT EDITS NPC_CRIMINALS_MALE_1!!!!
Originally began as a project to put the firstperson glove meshes on the thirdperson models because I did not like how the thirdperson gloves looked, while working on it I realized there were several errors with the models of the characters, such as an accidental reversion to an older head mesh, clipping issues, weighting issues, so on and so forth. Mostly a result of the glove update screwing with things. Due to how Payday 2's models work any mod that edit the heister's models directly are incompatible. This affects every single heister, even the ones you and I don't like. Duke is separated because i also changed his textures. Assume incompatibility with any heister replacers unless they use cpone's head code. Permissions are open, if you want to make a change and ship it as your own on modworkshop feel free provided you credit me properly. As of Version 2.0 I am very satisfied with the mod. Having resolved every issue the mod itself introduces as well as many vanilla issues, I consider to be complete.
Additional Notes
This mod additionally solves a lot of issues with the vanilla models. It reduces clipping on the ICTV on male characters and completely addresses it on the female characters. Other issues such as weighting problems haven been changed too. I have made my own subjective embellishments to Hila's model. Changed her facial proportions to what I believe is more accurate to her likeness, and morphed her body shape to look more accurate to other female_average classified characters such as Sydney. These changes are not what OVERKILL intended, but what my eyes prefer.
Compatibility Notes
- Heister compatible forearms is recommended, as this mod will solve clipping present in that mod as a side effect.
- Restoration Mod makes it's own changes to the character models which causes an incompatibility with this mod. To resolve the conflict, go inside the resmod folder, go into "assets\units\payday2\characters\npc_criminals_suit_1" and delete all the files inside. You will need to do this for every Restoration Mod update
- If you use any mod that re-textures the fps gloves, that texture will also be present in third person. Please keep that in mind when picking glove textures.
- This is different from "default gloves replace heister gloves" because it edits the character models themselves, meaning the gloves will be replaced by default. It is still compatible with that mod, but the glove shapes are not 100% consistent
- This mod will auto update, but beardlib auto updates have never been the most reliable, so try manually downloading if you have issues.

I never thought a mod originally focused on changing the default gloves on character models would end up fixing the issues with Bonnie's model, but I'm happy regardless.
truth be told I dont know if it was an issue i caused or not. But hey, since it's baked into the same model I might as well.
@HedyL The issues weren't your fault. They're Overkill's fault. The issues arose after the glove update where they bloated her sleeves, forgetting that ICTV exists, leading to the horrible clipping. Male heisters had a similar issue, but less egregious. Her viewmodel has also been fucked for years, only somewhat fixed during the same update. I don't know when the weird leg stuff happened, probably the same update as well.
As one of the few Bonnie players that prefers to use her default outfit, I appreciate you fixing her when Overkill won't.
what was wrong with her model? only thing i can recall was seeing a patch note for console versions a few years ago and it literally read "fixed bonnies neck"

First and Second image showcase her sleeves clipping through the ICTV
Third image shows weird thigh weighting HedyL fixed with the recent mod update
Fourth and Fifth image show detached hands on her viewmodel
Using this mod and Restored Heister Sleeves completely fixes Bonnie's default outfit both in first and third person.
Bonus: Her viewmodel looked like this for a couple years. I don't know when they broke it, but it was like that when they originally ended development on PAYDAY 2.

@Host One vertex on her right leg was weighted to her left leg causing it to stretch out when she seperated her legs (like with the thanatos animation)

i know this is late but I just wanted to comment on default bonnie's suit. Is it just me or does OVERKILL really do the bonnie version of outfits dirty? they look really misshapen and lazily adapted to her figure. Her default outfit looks better in most cases and it sucks because i love the outfit system.
@HedyL
Overkill does Bonnie VERY dirty with outfits. There's only a handful of outfits that look okay with Bonnie. She was such an afterthought with the outift system that it took them a couple of months to add a fat version of the new rain coat and it didn't even work on release, turning Bonnie invisible. Her version of the scrubs outfit is aligned incorrectly, so you can see a gap between her head and the outfit. Some outfits with buttons had to be fixed because they floated above the outfit, but only on the fat versions. Other outfits give her twig legs making her look like an egg while others retain her thick legs. Most outfits suffer from doing a bad job at translating her gut. Some have a visible gut, some don't.
Her default outfit is the only one worth using. Same applies to Clover because the outfits seem more fitted for Sydney and Joy. Which clashes with Clover's default design since she's thicker than those two.
