This is a pack of my existing texture rework mods plus some new textures. My future reworks are going in this pack.
My goal is just to make weapon textures look nicer. I generally use the vanilla textures and edit them heavily. Changes range from big to small.
Some of my older reworks didn't make it in. That means I'm probably going to redo them. Some were already remade.
Eventually, this mod will replace Subtle Weapon Improvements. SWI is already unlisted, but can still be found [url=https://modworkshop.net/mod/23045]here.[/url]
[b][color=#eeb937]This mod is not finished and still has a very long way to go,[/b][/color] which is why I am still linking to SWI. You can probably merge the files of SWI into this mod in the meantime, but don't replace this mod's files with SWI files.
I don't know when I will consider this mod finished, but it won't be soon. I am working at my own pace, which to be honest, isn't very fast.
Not every weapon and weapon attachment is going to be retextured because plenty of them already look fine.

- What I generally look out for on my retextures is to undo blue color tints, baked on shading, and noticeably low quality, artifacted textures.
- You need BeardLib for this mod to work properly. Some textures use the .gsma format, which require a new texture to be added to the game on top of the usual ones.
- There's a lot that could change as I'm working on this mod. I'm figuring out what looks good and what doesn't.
- I am retiring Subtle Weapon Improvements because I just don't care much for it anymore. Some of these textures definitely aren't subtle and the title doesn't make sense anymore. I also think some of my work on that mod is a little dated and I could make a mod that's better overall.
- Does not fully support Classic Weapon Animations quite yet but I'll get around to it.

Instructions
**Make sure to first have SuperBLT, and BeardLib installed. Click the links in the dependency list.**

1. After downloading the mod, use a program such as [7zip](https://www.7-zip.org/download.html) or [WinRAR](https://www.rarlab.com/download.htm) to extract the main folder of the mod.
2. Navigate to `assets/mod_overrides`. The assets folder is supposed to be in your game's installation folder (don't know where that is? click [here](https://wiki.modworkshop.net/books/payday-2/page/finding-payday-2s-install-folder)). Create the folder if necessary
3. Move the main folder of the mod from step 1 to the folder you navigated to in step 2.
