This pack touches up a bunch of weapon textures to look better, in my opinion. I look for things like baked-on shading, exaggerated hues, or texture inconsistencies and iron them out. There might be updates in the future.
If you want to remove parts of the mod that you don't like, do not touch the "assets" folder unless you know what you're doing. This folder has .gsma textures in it that I needed to add because the base game doesn't have them. Deleting from "units" should be fine as in contains the bulk of the reworks and also the instructions that tell the game to use the .gsma textures in the first place (which is why deleting parts of "assets" and not "units" will make the game hang or crash).

They've been darkened and made more discreet so they don't clash as much with the weapon. The gadget rail has also been desaturated.

Hey I just wanted to ask if you remember an HD upscaled version of your mod subtle weapon improments. I swear I had seen it before and was woundering if you remember it, the author, and if it had been removed or not, thank you in advanced.
My memory is fuzzy and this might not be totally correct, but here's what I might remember:
I never made an HD upscaled Subtle Weapon Improvements, just to get it out of the way.
There may have been an upscaled version of my textures in a mod created by "△urelius". They used to have a handful of upscaled texture mods.
I think the next place you should ask is asking that mod author. Again, I'm not totally sure about the info I told you being correct.
