Hello fellow gungeoneers!
This is a mod that adds a custom character titled "The Skeleton Man".
A cursed man who slightly speed up all projectiles in the game and have reverse knockback on his guns. That's right, each shot brings the enemies closer and closer.
The starting loadout is:
- Infinite Trick Gun (to fit his theme of changing appearance)
- Cursed bullets
- Scouter
- Orange
To do:
Punch out sprites.
Maybe edit the game over screen after the past is killed.
First time installing a mod? Don't worry, here's how:
- Download and install the latest version of ModTheGungeon.
- Run Enter The Gungeon once. It should generate a subfolder in your ETG install directory named Mods.
- Download the latest version of Kyle's Custom Characters Mod and extract the contents of the .zip into the Mods folder in your ETG install directory.
- Delete the mods.txt file inside the Mods folder and run Enter The Gungeon once. It should generate a subfolder in your ETG install directory called CustomCharacterData.
- Download the latest version of this mod and extract the contents of the .zip into the CustomCharacterData folder in your ETG install directory.
- And finally, delete the mods.txt file inside the Mods folder again and then you're good to go.
Falling Helmet Note:
I included an optional file in there to deal with the Marine flying helmet that will always appear as a result of using him a as base for a character mod.
To use it, simply extract the "Optional Vanishing-helmet.zip" contents into Enter the Gungeon\Resources\sprites. If you're worried about overwriting anything that might be there, just make a backup in case you want to revert anything.
