So I love Code Silver, and I like Code Silver 2018, but there's one thing about it that bothers me, the feel of the original control and anticipation is lost in the 2018 version, and instead it feels like a generic heist track, while the original Code Silver had a "Calm before the storm" effect with it's buildup, where the control phase was mostly quiet with some ambient sounds, and then the buildup started with these forboding drums, I ended up trying my hand at trying to restore that feeling with Code Silver 2018, and ended up creating Code Silver 2018: The Heist, a Remix of Code Silver 2018 that acts as a love letter to the Original Code Silver, including some nods to Left 4 Dead, the franchise that inspired No Mercy.
Setup - Partially a dual mix of the original and 2018 Code Silver, with the note timings matching 2018 Code Silver, as well as a quiet version of the No Mercy theme from Left 4 Dead playing in the background, as well as starting with the initial note from Left 4 Dead No Mercy.
Control - Heavily inspired from Code Silver, with some ambience noises/notes from Left 4 Dead thrown in to add some variation and creepiness factor.
Buildup/Anticipation - Starts with the drums from the original Code Silver but Transitions into 2018 Code Silver, with the original alarms blaring in the background.
Assault - 2018 Code Silver, with the alarms from the original Code Silver added, and the end part transitioning into the Original Code Silver, Arguably the least changed of each part of the track.
Does not replace the original code silver or code silver 2018, Instead adds as a new track via Beardlib.
