Completely remade every animation in the KETCHNOV Byk-1 viewmodel animation set (over 40 individual files). Tried to keep it consistent with PAYDAY 2's animation style, but without all of the issues present in new vanilla guns. Proper hand grips, timings, this mod has it all.
This mod includes over 40 new .animation files to override the vanilla ones, overrides to the base weapon model and grenade launcher, as well as two minor Lua hooks in order to add a new weapon stance set for the underbarrel.
Please let me know what you think in the comments, or if you find any issues/visual glitches. I'll try to fix and polish everything ASAP. This is my first proper viewmodel animation set so the quality isn't quite perfect, but I sure learned a lot from this. I hope you enjoy playing with this mod.
Known issues:
- It is not possible to tweak the stances of the underbarrel mode with PerfectViewModel. Unfortunately, there is no way I can fix it on my end. You can edit the underbarrel's stance in two ways: either open PerfectViewModel_Options.txt located in PAYDAY 2\mods\saves and copy-paste your custom "groza" block while also renaming it to "glgroza", OR open up playertweakdata.lua in this mod's hooks folder and copy your PVM values to the glgroza section.
- The bullet object does not disappear during empty reloads. This is OVERKILL's fault for not adding the trigger for it in Lua. I may include a fix for it in a later update.
- The rifle/GL switch does not move. This is also a vanilla issue. I have included animations for the part, but they do not trigger correctly as of now. Upon investigation, fixing this issue is rather difficult, so don't bet on it.
