At first I didn't rly appreciate the idea that they added hero type of characters to the COD series, I would have rather played the faceless soldier character. But as time went on I reconcile with this gameplay feature.
I started to like Mara and her voice, so I sttarted to make a voiceover for her (replacing Clover voicelines). Managed to get all (or most of?) her voicelines from the game: it was uploaded to youtube. Downloaded the file and started to cut up and edit her voicelines:
Update v0.1:
- all special units: bulldozer, medic, taser, cloaker, sniper spotting lines replaced
- elamination voicelines replaced for the units mentioned above
- intimidation lines replaced
- deploying: ammo, body, medic bag, fak replaced
- runnin on low ammo replaced
- runnin on low health replaced
- follow, go lines replaced
- smoke, flash, teargas replaced
- thanks lines replaced
- acknowledge, understood lines replaced
- turret lines replaced
- camera and guard lines replaced
Update v0.2:
- replaced some left over lines
- up/downstair quotes replaced
- oh fuck (I think I found all the basic swears) replaced with oh fuck
- added new pager line responses I think
I would say it's sometimes annoying to hear Clover voicelines but for the most of the time their voices have a very similiar tone.. but I will try my best to replace all of Clover lines with new one. It's rly finicky and time consuming to find the right voicelines and then edit them in the right way, so all respect goes for those who decided to make any voiceovers.
For me at some instances her new replaced voicelines are quiet or hard to hear, but before I encode that their volume are fine, well hearable so idk what would be the problem yet. Maybe try to lower the interface volume in-game..
Also also I found a model of her in the Steam Workshop for Garry's Mod, it would be rly cool if someone could add it as a LAS (Legendary Armor Skins)
