The Duke wanted to join the Payday gang! But Bain thought having an ego-maniac on the team would really disrupt the current opperations. So, he cleverly told Nuke that he'd be able to join the team, but only if Bain got to decide his role. Now, the Payday gang can enjoy the presence of Duke Nukem, both during their heists, and in the comfort of their own bedrooms.
