PUT INTO 'MODS'
The UMP is cool and all, but it runs dry too fast.
It's got good damage and all, but it doesn't really matter if you get to shoot it like once or twice before running fully out and having to use your other gun for pretty much the rest of the time to gather up the ammo to refill it.
So I have returned to cheatworkshop.com to give it more ammo to play with!
- Mag size is decreased to 25 from 30
- Total ammo is increased to 150 from 90
- Fire rate is decreased to 600 from 652
- Damage is decreased to 59 from 99
- Accuracy is decreased to 56 from 60
- Stability is increased to 64 from 52
- Concealment is increased to 25 from 24
- Ammo pickup is increased to 5/8 from 0.9/3.15
- Extended Mag: +15 mag capacity, -4 accuracy, +4 stability, -2 concealment
- Short Mag: -15 mag capacity, +4 accuracy, -4 stability, +2 concealment
Now, the UMP will be able to shoot more, at the cost of a smaller DPS - which is a positive in my opinion, because better ammo economy means in the long run, you end up dealing more damage anyway.
Additionally, the mag size and fire rate are now more accurate to the real thing - same goes for the weapon mods. Even though the extended mag is fictional, comparing the proportions to the default one, it would hold about 40 rounds.
I also adjusted the accuracy and stability - I've always felt the UMP is a bit too hard to control.
And, finally, I gave the gun an extra point of concealment to compensate for the fact that it's now just the vector but with half the firerate.
Anyway, back to my slumber.
