The original Bullet, created by Kaliber herself to guard the Gungeon. Obviously a different color since it was created from different materials. He fought an slayed many Gungeoneers, never once stopping to question his position. One day however, he grew tired of his post, and decided to take a look at his surroundings out of curiosity. Abandoning his post, he decided to step outside for a bit. That day was the day the Gunslinger dominated the Gungeon and became the Lich. While Kaliber never found out that the Bullet had merely abandoned his post, it was overcome with guilt for doing so. Joining up with its sworn enemies, the Gungeoneers, the Bullet seeks out the new Bullet That Can Kill The Past. One designed for taking out your past.
Starting Items:
Vorpal Gun (Infinite Ammo)
Live Ammo
Bloodied Scarf
Amulet of the Pit Lord
Pros:
- Powerful starting set, automatically being immune to pits.
- Can get some serious power thanks to Ser Junkan
- Teleports instead of dodges
- Immune to contact damage, making enemies like Spent and Blobulon easy
Cons:
- Low starting health with only 1 armor to make up
- No way of regaining armor or HP, meaning more casings will need to be spent to stay alive
- Teleporting does require a bit more concentration than normal dodging
- No real defensive options
- Doesn't gain as much from Master Rounds as other characters might
- Only gets 1 blank per floor
Side Notes:
- Designed to lore-friendly and vanilla-friendly. May implement use of modded weapons if I chose to do so
- In its current state, this character may be a bit too powerful. I originally had Blasphemy and Ring of Chest Vampirism in the set as well but opted to remove them. I have no way of really knowing though without proper feedback
- Ironically cannot go to the past without the new Bullet That Can Kill The Past
- I intended for the character to use the Gunslinger's past, but unfortunately there is currently no way of using another character's past without changing the base character. You can somewhat emulate the past though by going into Bullet Hell and fighting the Lich there
- Sprites are fully finished and likely won't change saved for some possibly minor improvements
Installation Instructions:
- Install Mod The Gungeon and Kyle's Custom Character Mod
- Once you have both installed, download the .zip file and extract it. You can simply drag the file out from the .zip on to the desktop or into another folder.
- Find the EtG folder in your computer. For Steam users, you can simply right-click on EtG in your game library and go to Manage -> Browse Local Files. Locate the CustomCharacterData folder that should have been generated when you installed Kyle's Custom Characters mod. Place the folder you got from the .zip file in here. For Epic Games users, open your file explorer and click on the hard drive or storage device you use (Generally C:). Locate the Program Files folder (NOT Program Files x86). Open it, and then locate the Epic Games folder. Open that, and go into the folder labled EtG or Enter the Gungeon. From there, you can place the folder from the .zip of this character into the CustomCharacterData folder.
- Congrats! If done right, it should be fully installed. You can find this character in the Breach or you can swap to it by pressing the tilde key (~) on yout keyboard to open the console and then typing "character PastBullet"
Enjoy the character!
Feel free to leave any feedback on the character. I want to make these characters as balanced as possible while keeping the lore intact.
