Tired of getting obliterated on Overkill by Murkies and Federales wielding G36s? Disappointed that San Martin Bank isn't as hard as it should be on Death Sentence due to the heavy units not dealing enough damage? Maybe you're just sick of seeing FBI zombies in Cursed Kill Room on Death Wish? This mod replaces the weapons, and in some cases units, of faction units who do not function identically to their American counterparts. For example, if a heavy unit does not properly work on Death Wish, they will be given a G36.
Changes include:
General:
Heavies on the Death Sentence difficulty for all non-American factions have been replaced with the Heavy Zeal. Most factions don't have an equivilant.
Murkywater:
All heavies replaced - although they technically work properly on Mayhem and above, I opted to remove them on all difficulties due to their faulty body armor hitbox (their entire backside is invincible) and poor enemy recognition. As for other difficulties, they wield the wrong gun on Very Hard and Overkill, and they carry body armor on Normal and Hard.
Normal/Hard difficulty Shield replaced - the Murkywater Shield unit had no pistol variation, so now he is replaced with a SWAT Shield.
Heavy shotgunners removed from Death Sentence.
Russians:
ALL units using AK47s replaced with the weapon of their corresponding American unit. This change was made because the AK47's damage scaling is broken, despite it supposedly being a clone of the M4. These units include:
- Russian SWAT (now wields MP5)
- Russian Heavy SWAT (now wields R870
- Russian FBI SWAT (now wields M4)
- Russian FBI Heavy SWAT (now wields M4 on difficulties below Mayhem, uses G36 on Mayhem and above.)
- Russian GenSec SWAT (now wields G36)
- Russian Taser (now wields Yellow M4
Shield units above Hard given the proper weapon - They now wield MP9s instead of SR2s.
Heavy shotgunners removed from Death Sentence.
Federales:
Light units on Normal/Hard and Death Sentence now wield the MP5, instead of the M4.
Heavies on Very Hard and Overkill now use the M4 instead of the G36.
Light shotgunners on Very Hard and Overkill have been replaced with FBI shotgunners - They used to be using a SWAT shotgunner unit.
Bulldozers on Very Hard spawn with R870s instead of Saigas.
One of the first responders now wield a Bronco.
Zombies:
GenSec lights replace zombies on Mayhem and Death Wish.
FBI Heavy on Mayhem and above uses the G36 to match the GenSec Heavy.
FBI heavy shotgunner zombies replaced with non-zombie variants - the zombie unit is bugged, and will wield an M4 if you're not hosting. The replacement fixes this.
Taser now uses Yellow M4.
Bulldozer spawns on Death Sentence are fixed - all 5 types can now spawn!
Heavy shotgunners removed from Death Sentence.
This mod WILL sync with your clients, even if they don't have the mod!
To install: simply drop the Corrected Faction Spawns 2.0 folder in your mods folder. Requires SuperBLT.
