Description
This mod gives every guard its own detection meter. The detection risk will be stored and accumulated but will decrease after some time.
Every guard is suspicous after detecting someone recently. When the timer for this suspicion has run out he will slowly reduce his risk. Any new suspicious action will reset the timer. Both timers are scaled depending on the initial risk level. The whole process from detection to risk back at 0 takes roughly 1-2 mins.
The risk level is indicated by different outlines:
0 - 19 %
20 - 39 %
40 - 59 %
60 - 79 %
80 - 100 %
Make use of trip mines and sixth sense to make your way around suspicious enemies.
Note: The detection meter displays the current maximum risk which could hide other suspicious actions!
Story
The default implementation of the detection in PAYDAY 2 is not really realistic. We've all done it: The whole team crouch jumps in front of a guard and he went hmh?! and then just continued his business as usual. Now it's different: When you pass a guard and get him to e.g. 45% then your teammates (or you) have to watch out when passing him again because you'll be detected a lot quicker.
Features
- Works in Multiplayer (It is recommended for everyone to have it installed in order to see the colored outlines)
- Mod can be disabled in BLT-Options for easy switching between friends/online lobbies.
(Make sure to enable it before starting the heist but you can disable during a heist in case you forgot) - Cooldown can be disabled in BLT-Options (makes it even more challenging)

Why am I getting detected faster?

Probably because you didn't wait for the risk to completely deplete. It's important to understand that my mod shows the ceiling for that guard instead of the current value.
Why are cameras not showing their progression?

As stated above my mod shows the ceiling instead of the current value. If you get in the radius of a cam while the detection meter is still high the one from the camera will be hidden behind it (but is calculated independently).
Why don't cameras / civilians have an individual detection meter?

Some maps don't have a security room which means you can't avoid them and civilians shouldn't be as aware as guards and can be shot anyway.
What happens if I accidently leave it enabled in normal lobbies?

You are the Host: The mod will affect you and others - Turn it off or let everyone know - otherwise it won't be fun for anyone.
You are the Client: The mod won't affect you or others.
The new colors of the outlines for guards, civilians and cameras are still applied for both cases (only visible for you).
