Self-Update only works for Versions 1.021 and beyond
This is a fixed/modified reupload of Mx's Predator Gun and Shield REBORN.
Accompanied by a low-effort thumbnail.
- Weaponlib is no longer a requirement, so you can use this mod with mods that collide with Weaponlib. Though if you would like to see the ammo halving to be shown in menu, then Weaponlib needs to be installed.
Unlike the original mod, which reduced incoming damage to 0.0001, I split the damage reduction into three different scenarios:
Crouching: 80% damage reduction and stamina reduction of the same amount, 70% damage reduction when out of stamnia
Standing or Run and Gun: 80% damage reduction and 50% more stamina reduction, 70% damage reduction when out of stamnia
Standard running, reloading, or in air: 60% damage reduction
Interacting: There is a 20% damage reduction on the back side instead of the front. The DR during interaction skill will still apply.
There is no damage reduction from the back when put away as well.
It's probably not balanced still, but not as strong as the original.
Current known bugs:
- The viewmodels in general still need tweaks.
- The viewmodel while running for akimbo mp5s or any other akimbos that share the same stance blocks your vision. Shooting with the run and gun skill is fine.
- The akimbo viewmodel takes a second to change when you first pull out the weapon or ADS.
- Akimbo shotguns viewmodels are just placeholders, so expect issues.
- It seems the Chimano Compact Akimbo do not support the Shield as an attachment.
- Some akimbos may use different stances that I haven't taken into account.
If there are weapon viewmodels that need to be fixed, leave a comment down for the specific akimbo weapons and I'll try to work on it. Some weapons have their own so I need to make a new entry for each one of them. If you can give specific values using Perfect Viewmodel, I can push out the fix quickly.
