Desertfox Mk.2 Kit
A semi-automatic conversion kit for the Desertfox, inspired by the SRS Mk.2 from Contract Wars. Increases fire rate, capacity and ammo pickup in exchange for damage, accuracy and recoil.
Stats are more or less on par with the Rattlesnake, though with slightly higher damage so using the suppressor shouldn't affect breakpoints too much. Though it has slightly lower pickup rates to compensate for the higher firepower.
I'm pretty rusty on vanilla balancing so let me know if stats are wonky.
Requires SuperBLT, Beardlib and Weaponlib. Install into mod_overrides.
W&ERT also has support for it if that's your kind of thing.

- Despite the higher magazine capacity, the magazine is still the same because I can't do modelling. The game already has a handful of cases of magazine bullshittery so I don't care.- The receiver is also left unchanged. Might be trickier to fix with animations being the way they are implemented in the game but who knows.
- The bolt moves on its own, though it is only really noticeable if you have a mod increasing your FOV higher than normal.
- Casing ejection is a bit delayed because from what I can tell Weaponlib doesn't support effect overriding. I know it works when I do it manually, but it also affects the base gun so I'm not touching that.
- There's a slight animation jump after reloading. That's an issue a lot of custom weapons have and so far nothing can be done about it.
- Visual recoil is pretty high even when ADS so I'd recommend against using sniper scopes. If you're worried about the concealment penalty and don't have the Cartel DLC I have another mod that solves this kind of issue if you don't mind the performance hit.
