The AK-74 is the third major model of the Kalashnikov rifle, developed in the 1970s by Mikhail Kalashnikov. Identical in many ways to its predecessor, the AKM, the AK-74 is chambered in the lighter, .22 caliber 5.45x39mm round, which provides decreased recoil and improved human penetration.
You will find that the AK-74 performs as a relatively standard assault rifle. With decent stats across the board, while nothing is perfect, nothing is quite middling, either.
