Total overhaul of the Murkywater faction responder units to fix various issues with the faction in vanilla such as lack of different models, inconsistencies, no unit distinction and many, many others.
Light T1: Woodland camo, wears lightweight gear and balaclava. Shotgunner wears black armour and balaclava.
Light T2: Desert camo, has helmet and more gear. Shotgunner has exposed face.
Light T3: Vanilla Murkywater guard. Shotgunner has visible shells and a different face.
Heavy Rifle: Green fatigues, has visibly more armour.
Heavy City: Green fatigues with Russian helmet. Shotgunner has visible shells and black helmet.
Heavies also expose themselves with their reflective helmet visors and activated flashlights.
Optional download: removed helmet popping
v2 added helmet popping to the mod. However, it created for awkward situations where headshotted units would swap helmets. This file disables them.
Extract to the mod's folder and allow it to override.
Known issues:
- Light T2 R870 has some seam issues. This happened due to the limitations of the Model Tool and cannot be fixed for the time being.
Dropped helmets do not match the actual helmet worn. Nothing can be done about this except disabling helmet popping.
Trivia
The FBI tier was based off the Security PMCs from the Insurgency series, but also coincidentally resembled an alleghed early concept of a Murkywater responder faction seen in the Point Break DLC artwork (2015).
