Noita+ World Expansion Mod v2.2
This mod restructures the overall world layout to provide a much larger area to play and progress in, similar to a more open-world style of play like a Metroidvania. All orb rooms and essence locations are preserved, and are now able to be accessed by regular play. You are also able to eventually return to the surface to complete the true ending, if you can survive! Also included are some minor gameplay tweaks to make it more feasible to endure and survive the new extended map.
Gameplay tweaks include:
- The entire world layout has been shuffled and made much, much larger to explore.
- There is now a teleporter at the end of Hell that will allow you to escape, if you can reach it...
- Holy Mountains now have a map inside them, showing your location in the world.
- Holy Mountains now have a fast-travel portal room! As you explore new Holy Mountains, they are unlocked for fast travel via the portals in the left room of Holy Mountain.
- Angering the gods is a thing of the past. The Holy Mountain no longer require entering a portal to access them and they can be entered and exited freely with no consequences.
- Holy Mountain shop now contains 30 wands or spells, generally a mixture of both. Prices for wands have been lowered slightly.
- Holy Mountain shop now contains 3 random free potions.
- The Holy Mountain now contains 1 heart refill + maximum health, 2 heart refills and 3 spell refreshers, useful for topping up your health and ammo while exploring.
- The Holy Mountain now contains 6 perks to choose from.
- Orb rooms now spawn a heart refill and spell refresher pickup.
- Heart pickups from the Holy Mountain provide +30 maximum health, up from +10.
- All other sources of heart pickups provide +50 maximum health.
- Enemy kills reward double the amount of gold nuggets as usual, both by intentional kills and by "accident".
- The starting wand now chooses random spells to start with, and the starting bomb wand has been replaced by a chainsaw wand!
- Picking up gold now heals you slightly, +1hp per nugget.
- Fog of war has been removed. Note: All-seeing-eye perk is currently redundant.
INSANE MODE:
Noita not hard enough for you? Think you've got what it takes to best the hordes crawling around in the dark deep depths? Try INSANE MODE!
Changes in INSANE MODE:
- All enemy spawns are doubled. Some are tripled. Expect to see LARGE packs of enemies.
- Monsters no longer in-fight. Every last one of them hungers ONLY for your flesh.
- Some perks have received minor boosts to compensate, some have been nerfed (looking at you, perk lottery)
Installation Instructions:
NOTE - DO NOT ENABLE BOTH NOITA+ AND NOITA+ EXTREME! ONLY ENABLE ONE AT A TIME!

Extract the folders inside the archive file into the mods folder found in the Noita folder ( by default this is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Noita ) and run the game.

Open the menu inside the game and click on "Mods (Experimental)", in there you'll find the mod in a list on the left. Simply tick the box next to the mod name to enable it, use the Move Up button to make it the first mod in the list, then click on "Start a New Game with enabled mods active".
There may be compatibility issues with other mods that alter the same files, I am currently in the process of switching to an Ommel-friendly mod format
whenever I get later into the run with most of the holy mountains unlocked, my game runs out of memory and crashes and I lose the save, unless every now and then I save and quit, which makes all previous holy mountains not spawn portals to future holy mountains. is there any way to fix this? I really like this mod but after losing several really powerful runs to crashes, I've had to disable it.
