The G11 features a unique 'hyperburst' fire mode, in which the weapon will rapidly eject 3 rounds at 2100 rounds per minute, before the weapon recoils in the operator's hands.
The G11 was a revolutionary assault rifle intended for use by the German Bundeswehr, but due to its long development time, costly research and production, geopolitics, the weapon never got to be fully adopted. It uses a unique caseless ammunition which allows it to be extremely light, and has a unique feeding mechanism, giving it a selective 'hyperburst' fire mode which allows it to fire 3 rounds at 2100rpm per trigger pull, with the recoil not hitting the user of the weapon until all three rounds have left the gun.
