Summary:
With this mod, when purchasing a new Thanatos, it will not have the bipod. Existing Thanatos rifles are unaffected.
The bipod itself is altered so it can be removed and attached like an ordinary weapon mod.

Mod Compatibility:
This mod is in LUA format, not mod_override, so it is compatible with mods that alter the Thanatos and/or the bipod of the Thanatos which are in mod_override format.
I personally would recommend the Folded Bipod for Thanatos mod uploaded by Monster Grenzgaenger. A Thanatos which has the bipod will show the folded bipod from that other mod, but this mod can still be used to have a Thanatos with no bipod.

Multiplayer Compatibility:
Unlike similar mod_override mods which only affect your view, other players will see your Thanatos as having no bipod if you have equipped a bipodless Thanatos. This is purely cosmetic, so I don't think it breaks any rules.

Future Plans:
May add support for the built-in bipods for other weapons.

Some Minor Quirks:
This mod does not alter the weapon icon for the Thanatos. I would recommend renaming your rifles to keep track of which ones do and don't have a bipod.

There is no weapon mod icon for the Bipod.
