This mod adds a custom ammo type to the 5/7 Pistol that removes the armour-/shield-/wall-piercing capabilities and reduces the damage of the pistol but adds 30 more rounds, increases ammo pickup to 3-4 bullets per ammo box, as well as some accuracy and stability to make it more akin to pistols like the Signature .40 pistol.
I tried to make it available by default but couldn't get it to work. You can get the mod through loot drops or the daily challenges though. If  you're trying to get it through the daily challenges select "Normal" for the mod pool when claiming your weapon mod.

UPDATE 2017/06/05:
I reworked the mod from a regular BLT mod to a mod_override. The weapon mod should now be available right away and have an actual icon.

UPDATE 2017/10/04:
Fixed crashing when selecting the weapon mod.

!! If you already have a version released prior to this update, delete it. This new version goes into your mod_overrides folder rather than your mods folder.
