I was away for so long, i swear i fixed my shit now, i added many other things and i balanced (finally i balanced this fucking shit) it around the difficulty update and i'm now here to introduce it.
It's just same shit as "Spawn Faster" or "Harder Difficulty", only added some more things and now it doesn't have it's own cop ai enchancer, so optionally you can use "Full Speed Swarm" (which i recommend) (I also recommend Iter, it makes ai a little better too).
--- Let's talk about what does this mod do shall we? ---
Disadvantages:
- Different Blues or Heavy Blues and Snipers (yes, they learnt to walk) can spawn now (but not too oten)
- All cops directly rush at players
- Cops now dodge more often and they can shoot while dodging (forces you to aim better (also they look like max payne lol))
- More cops spawns if you kill civilians
- If drama is high (somone took a huge damage or got downed), cops will spawn more smokes and flashbangs (high drama lasts short though)
- Cops now go to objective abort places more often (shutting off shelter, closing the hack...)
- Cops' spawn rate is waaaay too high
Advantages:
- Cops don't spawn in anticipation phase, (build-up, where assault begins to start and heat increases), only spawn in the assault
- Cops now spawn nearly half as much (max on ovk/mayhem/dw = 56 vanilla/28 with the mod, od = 84 vanilla/28 with mod(it is already too hard with this mod))
- More cameras got shot, less enemies you get
- You have an ability called FED TIME: For every 60-100 (a number around those) cops got killed, you get 7s of slow motion, but slow motion only affects the world, not you.
Little Differences:
-/+ Murkies now spawn in assaults in Beneath The Mountain, Meltdown and Birth Of Sky
-/+ Hostage Rescue Teams are now spawning instead of normal units when assault ends
-/+ - Assaults last much longer but if you can kill enough cops, it will end before the timer (like in vanilla)
-/+ Cops can throw flashbangs only if they see you and are closer than 8,5 meters to you (but only if they saw you not much ago) (it's also same for smokes but range is 14 meters)
-/+Also there is some keybinding options to increase/decrease--> spawn cap/smoke flash frequency, i wanted to make them randomly increase and decrease, (but fuck me i'm so tired today and i have school tomorrow, which is a new school and i don't like this school) but until then, feel free to balance your own game!
Update -- 2 - Assault Overhaul:
- Murkies now spawn in Meltdown, Beneath The Mountain, Birth Of Sky instead of normal cops, but specials and other rares can still spawn (Blues, HRTs)
- HRTs now spawn between assaults
- Less cops spawns (spawn cap was 32, now it is 28) (becouse it got harder this time, i feel like need to balance it, but you can always balance it as you want if you use the keybinds though) (also you can suggest me to lower it if you think it's too hard)
- Cop variety has been added, so be ready to see the boys in blue and snipers that learnt to walk in assaults! (they spawn less often than normal cops though, like specials)
- Also changed the name of mod to Assault Overhaul, becouse it literally "is" an Assault Overhaul (actually it should be a "Gameplay Overhaul" but, i feel like current one is a better name)
2.1:
- Reduced spawn cap even more, thought it is hard a bit, but if you think it's waay too low, you can suggest me to increase a bit (it is now 25 for all difficulties, though, it still can see 28 if a group of 4 cops spawn while the current number of enemies is 24).
- Reduced the spawn pool a by 100 (now it is 400) becouse with the lower cap, it is longer to end the assault now
- Tried to fix somethings and only fixed couple of them.
- Also increased the frequency of flash/smoke spawns a little bit
