I noticed that my previous ! removal mod had some glitches (it still showed "!" on weapon tabs which is even harder to remove now that I masked the "!" that should suppose to show which one is new)

So I went back to the drawing board, read up some luas and wrote this one.

It removes the "!" on main menu. And has a keybind to go through your inventory and clear up "new_drops".
