Hey guys, so I just started modding and successfully installed Beardlib and BLT. But I previously thought that sound mods go in the BLT mods folder, although it doesn't work for me, at all. I'm stumped and really couldn't find any answers. Now I have modded games before, but modding Payday 2 is much different than games like Oblivion and such. Any help would make me glad.
To install sound mods you downloaded
*Unzip the rar file and move the folder in payday2/assets/mod_overrides (if there is no mod_overrides folder in assets, create one)
There are also custom track mods which requires music module (custom tracks are also override formatted)
And the other type of mod is .pdmod which you can apply them via bundle modder
That doesn't work. Wanna know why? Because every time I try to install any sound mods I get told the same thing and it never works. Because it doesn't replace anything. Because it does. not. work.
Are you trying to install a custom soundtrack?
For that, you need the latest BeardLib (it already come with Music Module on the BeardLib itself)
Then put the custom soundtrack files on payday 2 dir > assets > mod_overrides
