First of all, I'd like to start by saying I am new some new games. I recently cashed out of TF2, and now I only really play GTAV and Payday. I need some new games to play and it seems like most people here are pretty well versed and knowledgeable about quality stuff.
Good genres in general
- Crime / Heist
- FPS
- Open World
Basically describes the games I like playing the most, GTAV and Payday. But I am also looking at these games, and want to know if they are good or if you guys know.
- ARK: Survival Evolved
- The entire Battlefield series/entries since I have never played a Battlefield game except the BF4 Beta on Xbox 360.
- Rust
- Interstellar Marines
- KILLING FLOOR 2
- I already have CSGO, don't even mention it here
I am only asking these questions here since I feel like the people here are generally smart and friendly, and usually well versed and intelligent. I just want some of your opinions on the best games out there on the market right now.

The only thing not in early acces are the battlefield games. So you do need to understand that the games you are interested in contain bugs and/or are not finished products.
I am personaly a co-op guy. So I don't realy like survival games. I love the settings and ideas. But the fact that I can loose all my progress bacause of a bunch of jerks is awfull. (Excperienced in DayZ. But this issue is in all those games)
Killing Floor 2 is better than 1 WHEN it gets all content. For now it has not enough content for a lot of playtime.
Interstellar Marines is great FPS. But still needs a lot of content. Only robots as enemys or PvP and 3 guns. It has 3-4 game types and 5-6 maps.
Thanks for the input! :D
I also enjoy co-op, and I play with my group of buddies and we do co-op in Payday and stuff, glad that you like co-op as well, and thanks again for the info! :D

The BF serie is really nice, except hardline. basically in hardline the weapon damage is so high you die in 2-3 bullets without being able to react. and even with that they managed to make the weapon unbalanced.
Try to find a deal for BF4 on premium under 30$,it's a grat game that is still supported by dice, with new maps and other stuff added to the game throught big seasonal patchs..

Alright, thanks! :D I'll have to check that out soon

Not many crime/heistery based games out there, aside from the PAYDAY and GTA titles.
Although, I'm with Rokk, Killing Floor 2 is where it's at, these days.
But if you are a classic gamer, like myself, then the first Killing Floor is just as good as the second.
As for other FPS games, I recommend highly:
The Ship / Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 / Star Wars: Battlefront 1 & 2 / Evolve (Wait for a sale though) / CS:GO / Any of the Red Orchestra titles / And if you have an Xbox 360: Then the Gears of War series and Halo series
For Open World games, I recommend:
Two Worlds / Elder Scrolls 3, 4, and 5 / Fallout 3, New Vegas, and 4
