Regarding the "gameplay changing" mods and future of modding
Avatar

As many of you have noticed, there is a new section on the downloads for gamplay changing mods, many of you love it, many of you hate it and many of you have voiced your opinions about it. (Some of you not so politely either, tsk tsk)

As of right now, i don't know what i can and cannot tell you, so i will keep it short and sweet. Awesome things are going to happen regarding modding. For both sides of the argument. Which i feel will make everyone very happy. I have a meeting with Almir early in September, once he's back from PAYDAYCON in Seattle. Everything will be revealed shortly after that. I hope you guys can avoid a Last Bullet civil war until then.

For now, if you do not agree with the mods that are in that section. Don't use them, don't play with people who do use them. Nobody can take that option away from you.

As always, take it easy, stay in school, don't do drugs. Get your dogs and cats spayed and neutered, and don't take candy from strangers, unless they are the really good kind.

I have been AJ, you have been you. and Hoxton has been stealing your games consoles whilst you weren't looking. :hoxton:

Peace

Wrong

He has been playing Gameboy ;)

With gameplay changing mods, if it hurts other peoples experiences then i generally view them as.... bad mods

But if it changes the game, makes it better, makes it more enjoyable then im all for it :)

:P

New features for lobbies where you can give them a description and maybe the lobby even reads the mods that are active so people aren't taken by surprise by game changing mods. All of that revealed during the crimefest.

Calling it!

That is a good idea.

I agree. Mods should only be there to enhance your own experience, and make the game for accessible or more fun for the player. If a mod interferes with someone else's enjoyment or changes the game to ways that others are offended, don't enjoy, or affect other players that you are with should be made with caution or not exist at all. The only mods that should be made are mods that enhance your own play.
