DEagle Long Barrel to OVERKILL Compensator
Avatar

Hello everyone! Now that it seems like everything is probably beginning to get back up to speed since there are now actually some new mods cropping up again, I figured I'd make a request that's honestly long overdue: Replace the DEagle's silly, silly long barrel.
                           :yeehaw:
Now, I already jumped the gun and tried to do this myself, attempting to replace the long barrel with the OVERKILL compensator because they're roughly the same length, but realized halfway through that I couldn't do that without actual model editing tools because at the very least I'd have to glue the OVERKILL compensator model to the standard barrel model and use that to replace the long barrel for the direct model swapping method to work. OH DEAR. Now, that method may still be able to work for one with the tools to make it happen, but another method might be a better idea.

...The other method is, (un)naturally, the arcane magicks of LUA modding, which I cannot wield myself (...yet...?). Since this method can apparently automagically use parts that are already in the game anywhere at will, as evidenced by the MultiCustomizer, this would likely be a better way to go about doing things, because instead of actually replacing the long barrel model, we'd just make the game render a standard barrel with attached OVERKILL compensator instead. And then hopefully the game still uses the long barrel's muzzle attachment point because, as I mentioned earlier, the OVERKILL compensator is very, very nearly the same length as the long barrel, which means that muzzle attachments would still look perfectly fine. In fact, because of how weird the long barrel looks, other muzzle attachments might look better attached to the end of an OVERKILL compensator.

Of course it would still be absurdly long and really impractical looking, but, hey, at least it would look cooler.

YES! YES! Great, fantastic, amazing!

That is exactly what I want. Cheers to both of you.
The suppressors float a bit, but that doesn't matter because it's so close to the barrel it wouldn't be visible during normal play, and the flash hider is invisible, but that could be viewed as a good thing.
