This is an alpha release-candidate 5 for the RTVCoop mod, which aims to eventually bring a seamless, near-native coop port to Road to Vostok. There are
currently many bugs and features that have yet to be implemented or are experimental and not properly working. Best tested on a new save

Requirements
This mod requires the GodotSteam addon for Steam connectivity. Without it, the mod falls back to an ENet peer and you'll need to port forward. (Port 27015)
- Download: https://codeberg.org/godotsteam/godotsteam/releases
- File: godotsteam-4.18.1-gdextension-plugin-4.4.zip
- Install: Unzip and drop the addons folder next to your mods folder.
This should work fine with alternative mod loaders, but the one I'm using is here: https://github.com/ametrocavich/vostok-mod-loader
What works
- Game state synchronization — weather, time, and season are synced to the host.
- Player positioning and animations — running, crouching, raising/lowering weapon all sync.
- Inventories & container loot — containers are seeded to match across players. Loot is shared, not per-client.
- AI type & state — AI target the same player across all clients; type and outfit match.
- Scene/level sync — each player is tied to whichever scene the host is in. (Design choice for now — may be changed later to support clients in
different scenes, e.g. one in the cabin, one in the village.) - Friendly fire — But you should test it yourself, as well. 🙂
- Death & respawning — currently not super punishing by design. You die, respawn at an AI point, find your friends again. Will be made more punishing in the future.
- Dropping items from your inventory
- Clients have persistent save data — if your buddy leaves, their inventory is kept. (must be in Cabin or Shelter to save.)
- F5 to toggle debug menu
What's yet to come
- Compatibility with other mods — planned.
Known bugs
- Dying with a full inventory will lead to some items being lost.
