Description
B-Sides is a mod for QOL in team management. It adds team building and saving options, fast team swap and team-setup backup / sharing.
It is based on the idea of recording a team setup (Mixtape set) on the B-sides of the tapes on your party, and use them for battles. Just prepare a team on your party, choose a name and save that setup as a Mixtape set for later use: it is that simple.
Feature List
- Save and reload any team setup you can create within your game
- Use the same tapes on multiple teams with different setups
- Limited editing options for teams, such as
-- Team and tapes renaming,
-- Team erasing,
-- Tapes and stickers rearrangement - Contextualized menus for A- and B-side tapes
- Export your teams for backup or sharing purposes
- Import teams from your backups or shared by other people
- Unlimited battle teams, shared between all savefiles on the same PC
-- Each savefile can have a different loaded Mixtape set, btw - No savefile changes: everything this mod uses is stored separately from your save
- Update available icon, if mod_utils is installed (added on version 1.0.2)
- Team validation checker*
* Team validator is important for teams created with mods that could change the vanilla game, such as adding new monsters or changing sticker / attribute limits. So the save file using any team need to have the compatible mod that changed the game if said team uses any resources from that mod. In case of importing teams, B-Sides will reject adding them to the list of teams if any tapes or stickers are incompatible with the current game + mods, and loading already saved teams to a game that lacks any needed mod will result on the team being shown without tapes and not being able to be apply it when going through the teams menu.

As of version 1.0.2, cantrip's mod can have some undesired interaction with this mod if a cantrip is saved on the party when this mod is installed. I'm currently looking for a way to prevent that, but cantrip mod changes the save file, and I would rather not risk overwriting the original save. In order to avoid the issue, it is recommended to move any cantrip on your party to the tape storage, saving, then adding this mod to your game. After that, you should be good to go and use cantrip in your teams.

As of version 1.0.2, the current version of False Wirral should not be compatible with this mod. I'll be removing support for B-Sides when entering false wirral areas later on, but if you start any quests on new wirral with a team loaded from this mod, the loaded team can be turned invalid, and will need to be erased after leaving false wirral's areas.
