The guide goes over roughly everything needed to get a character replacement from Blender to in-game. It doesn't explain basics like rigging etc, but it details anything specific to this process, along with tips for things such as Fake Transparency, Split Edge Normals, and Eye Movement
I highly recommend enabling the Google Docs 'document outline sidebar' and using it as a table of contents. There's a lot of dense information and not all of it will be relevant in all situations.
I will be leaving comments enabled for feedback, but mainly to ask questions about the guide (maybe I explained something poorly or made a mistake and you want clarification), or to tell me about things I could add to it. Also if you find it helpful feel free to let me know :) The comments are not enabled so I can teach you Blender. Basic Blender questions will be ignored unless covered in the guide.
