(sorry for inactivity and the paucity of this update - just pushed this out as it was urgent. still recovering from a hospital stay, and will be for a while. man medical bills are gonna be rough lmao)
(Pale soup will no longer leave the Harbourtown Station and Aldritch Tomb Station underground. It will now also fix/undo the problem for anyone who's already used it pre-update.)
Note: Ver. 1.6 has two versions: (Derealization), which retains an intentional "bug" relating to dialogue boxes from the use of Pale Soup and Jamais Vu, and standard, which sees the bug "fixed". The Derealization version can be accessed from the "Downloads & Updates" tab.
Adds new items to Clem's shop!
The Ulster Fry is a cheap way to heal a character's human form, in or out of battle.
Pale Soup resets most dialogue and encounters, allowing you to experience them again! It also resets most chests!
The Kuneko Birthday Shake and Ninja Yarn are purchasable after encountering Kuneko in the wild. The Ninja Yarn summons a fully-voiced Kuneko with multiple unique abilities, while the birthday shake grants 10 AP but instantly knocks out the recipient.
The Olive-Down and Olive-Down+ lower the recipient's level by 5 and 20, respectively, although the Olive-Down+ grants 2 stamina in return. They are available to players over level 20, and might be useful for those who want to try using one of the new monsters from 1.2! The Olive-Down+ is also a pretty decent way to get ludicrous amounts of stamina.
The Mourning Glory Boxed Cereal is purchasable after certain beings have returned to New Wirral. Each box of Mourning Glory Cereal comes with a free guaranteed rare sticker!
The Curious Case of Jamais Vu reduces your relationship with your current partner by one level, resetting any related romantic/platonic statuses. Perfect for the morning after accidentally friendzoning someone you have a crush on!
The Vint-Blown Chewable Multivitamin is essentially a more-potent Upgrape, and may help with remastering or collecting certain tapes lategame.
Big ups to Floral for creating the sprites for the Kuneko-related items!! She has some cool mods up and is rad person in general, so check out her work!
.
(Please note that the presence of the Ulster Fry and not the Full English is not a political or sectarian statement. It's just what I'm more familiar with - and I do plan on adding the Full English in a future update.)
.
Future Update plans:
- Guaranteed Bootleg-generating tapes, Fused Materials packs
- Downgrapes
- Equippable and Toggleable items?
- Additional Branching Dialogue and Menu Split?
