This mod is an easy way to add and share custom renames for items and enemies.
you could use this mod to give all the guns funny names, or to translate your favorite mod into a new language.
(some special characters will not work if you dont have that language used in gungeon, ie. は will only work if you have your current language set to japanese)

How To Install

drag the mod into your mods folder and delete mods.txt. Once you install the mod a new folder will be created in your ETG folder, called "CustomRenames". To install other renames simply drag in the folder containing someones custom renames into the CustomRenames Folder.

WHEN SHARING RENAMES DO NOT RENAME THE JSONS.

How To Use

in the console type in rnm help to get a rough rundown of the mod.
To rename a gun write in rnm setname item_name New Item Name
to set short descriptions rnm setshortdesc item_name New Item Short Desc
etc

to clear a name use rnm clearname item_name
to clear a short descriptions use rnm clearshortdesc item_name
etc

to rename enemies its rnm enemysetname enemy_name New Enemy Name
just enemy before whatever it is for items
etc

clearing names will only take effect once the game is restarted sadly.
