ABOUT-
This is a custom character mod that adds a version of the pilot named the Remnant, Remnant starts off with negative coolness, lowered accuracy, and lowered damage. As for gear, Remnant starts with: Budget revolver, Casey, Bracket Key, Silver bullets, and Metronome; so the best way to get more dps is to use metronome with a single weapon and slowly boost it's dps.
FEEDBACK-
This mod is still a work in progress and also my first custom character that I've worked on and tried my best, if you feel like something should be changed or have any constructive feedback I would love to hear it, I'm still at the beginners league in making custom characters and sprites. If for some reason you really want to be nice I could use help making custom characters and maybe even other mods and other sprites in the future so um, if you feel like helping a rookie out that would be pretty cool.
LORE-
Ever wondered what happens to dead clones, so did I, so I made this custom character! Basically, this character's backstory is that within the many many loops the Pilot had of dying and retrying to get past the Gungeon. The final run the Pilot had he obtained the Clone item, this made a near identical, yet uncompleted, clone of him that was never used as the Pilot never died his final run in the Gungeon... leaving the clone to rot. Fast forward much time later, the clone has gained somewhat of a consciousness. The clone looks around, only to find the, now free, pilot's old gear. The only thing still intact was a gun... The Judge... this is were you come in.
INSTALLATION-
So to use this character you are going to have already installed Kyle's Custom Character Mod. Next you will need to download my character file (Custom Character Pilot Remnant) and Extract everything that's in it into your CustomCharacterData folder found at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Enter the Gungeon\CustomCharacterData". After you've done those steps you should boot up Mod the Gungeon and once you load into the character selection area pick an already existing character, make sure to move away from were they were standing when you chose them and press F2, type "character remnant" and if everything worked the way it should, you should now be able to use Remnant like any other Gungeoneer.
