Raid World War 2: DNAU is a rebalance intended to fine-tune some of the game's difficulty while maintaining its fun, horde-shooter aspects.
The enemy health has been reduced slightly to reduce enemy tankiness, and the headshot multiplier has been increased 2x from before.
The enemy damage scaling has been reworked, along with enemy accuracy and firing patterns.
THE RAID GANG AT THEIR FINEST!
RAID's original design had players moving at slower, more considerate speeds, with a lot of its statistics being very grounded and reliant on player choice, however, I have made adjustments to this to keep things interesting.
Players now move quicker overall, and sprint much faster, for more freedom in movement!
Some of the player classes have had slight base-statistics changes!
Recon:
- Crouching and Aiming down sights no longer affects movement speed.
Insurgent:
- Half max stamina, half stamina regen delay, double stamina regeneration rate, 25% faster walking and running speed, and slightly less health!
BEHOLD THE POWER OF THE NEW AND IMPROVED WAFFLEN SS ARSENAL!
Enemy weaponry and their functionalities are all based on the weapons they hold, with each working in different ways!
Kar98: Precision and power at longer ranges, its heavier weight makes it struggle with moving targets.
Luger/Pistol: Low damage, good accuracy, and good firerate, but low range, a weapon for mooks.
MP38: Long bursts of automatic fire, low range, low accuracy, suppressive fire!
STG44: Burst-fire, ok range, ok accuracy, good damage, generally rarer among the troops.
Double-barrel shotgun: Super low range, ok accuracy, high damage, proximity means danger!
FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE!
The Flamer is commonly known to be quite a tanky, unfun bastard with ridiculously high burst damage, he has been reworked to be less annoying, his health has been reduced, along with a slight reduction to damage and has been given new, much, much scarier changes to compensate.
As the difficulty goes up, the flamer's cooldown between firing will be reduced, and how long it takes for them to fire will increase, for up to 6 full seconds of firing!
At Hard and Very Hard, The Flammenwerfer will be able to sprint at players!
Additionally, a long standing issue where the Flamer's armor and gas tank did not function properly has been repaired, meaning that the Flamer's gas tank will now be able to explode again!

OFFICERS ARE DONE WITH PAPERWORK!!!
The previously relatively harmless SS Officers have received a significant change - they now have increased combat capabilities, and buff nearby units' damage!

As one of the enemies uses a specific then-unused particle effect to convey their power, DNAU also now includes an optional effect replacement pack THAT GOES IN MOD_OVERRIDES to make certain effects more suitable to gameplay, as we do not have the ability to add entirely new effects as of now.
Things that DNAU does not do:

DNAU does not make RAID WW2 harder.

DNAU does not turn RAID WW2 into an arena shooter.
